The film adaptation of Wesley’s chamber opera, Soul of Word, was a Remi Award winner at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival 2024.


The University of Oklahoma recently programed Emulation as a part of their inner sOUnscapes concert series.


Wesley had the premiere of his chamber opera Soul of Word on November 17, 2023 by the UTSA Lyric Theatre.


Wesley had the premiere of his commission with the South Texas Symphonic Orchestra A Traveler’s Fantasy on October 15, 2023 at the University of Texas at San Antonio’s Recital Hall.


Wesley was invited to perform at Texas State University for a recital led by Richard D. Hall. Wesley performed on synthesizer with live sound processing.


The San Antonio Ambient Orchestra had their annual video for MuTe Fest VI at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Wesley had two new works for premiered for this video, Exo and Azure. You can find Wesley’s portion at the 19:16 mark.


The Performing Media Festival 2023 [PMF~2023] at Indiana University South Bend will be performing The Border of Wind performed by the Audio-Visual Collective.


Wesley was selected for the fourth cohort (2022) of the JACK Studio program hosted by the JACK Quartet. The Jack Quartet will workshop his piece Reverie of Mist and record it for non-commercial publication.


Wesley had the recording of Border of Wind showcased at the final night of MuTe Fest V. This was a collection of a various performances recorded, produced, and mixed by members of the San Antonio Ambient Orchestra. You will find Wesley’s portion at the 6:09 mark.


Wesley performed the live premiere of Emulation at the New Music Festival held at the University of Texas at San Antonio on March 8, 2022. He shared the stage with other talented composers such as Yoojin Muhn, Paul Millette, Nicole Russell, and more.

The San Antonio Ambient Orchestra had a performance on 12/1/2021 at the University of Texas at San Antonio where Wesley premiered his work The Border of Wind for Five Instruments. The performers were placed in the surrounding areas of the recital hall with a microphone recording each individual.

March 21st, Wesley premiered his electronic chance piece, Wander, with the San Antonio Ambient Orchestra (SAAO) at MuTe Fest IV Online.


Mysterium for New Music released their most recent musical project on May 8, 2020. It includes five 10-second clips recorded by the members which were then made into a 60-second piece.

February 22nd, Texas State Mysterium for New Music performed at MuTe Fest III where Wes premiered the live version of Unknown Existence. Other works on the program included a work by a good friend John Vinzant, Thomas Clark, and structured improvisation.


On November 14th – 16th, Angela Ocnaschek’s production What Lies in the Night was premiered at her B.F.A Recital. Wesley had the pleasure of collaborating with her on this project by composing the music. You can listen to the music here.


October 11th, The Sued/Nandayapa/Bergmann/Saudners Jazz Quartet released their debut self-titled album through the label Ropeadope Sur where Wesley contributed as a recording engineer. Check it out here.
